By the way, do the front side windows come tinted from the factory? The windows are clearly tinted, I can see the edges of the tint film when I roll the windows down.

no front windows are not tinted. The previous owner probably had someone do it.

nice congrats and enjoy.

Pretty loaded, I see lighting and appearance packages and those don't come by them selves.

Thanks, so far I love the car...the only thing I wish it had was the HK stereo system. I installed a whole new stereo system with a subwoofer in the car I had before the GLK, and I loved the bass. Might be a good add-on in the future.

FYI I was able to load all my phone book contacts from my Droid X to the GLK by going to google.com, opening up my contact and then exporting them as a VCard. Then save this file somewhere on the phone. From the Market Place on the phone, download Bluetooth File Transfer. In the GLK, Click SYS, then go to TEL and select option to receive Vcards. I should say "Received 0" etc. Leave it here. Now on the phone, open up the Bluetooth File Transfer app and find the contacts vcard file that you transferred over to the phone. Select it and then click on SEND. Select the MB bluetooth and watch the transfer happen. All your contacts are now transferred.

This assumes that you had already bluetooth synced the phone to the GLK.

Factory tint on rears only; no edges visable.

Do you have the stock audio system or the KH? How did you wire the subs in?

Do you have any pictures? Who installed it for you? How do you control the volume of the subwoofer by itself? What brand subwoofer and amp are you using? Also when the bass hits, does the sound of the vocals coming through the normal speakers become slightly quieter?

I have pictures in the thread i made called "what else can i do to my glk" but i will also post more later in the week cuz i am getting some more custom work done on them. i got everything locally for me at a place called DV8 motorsports inc. it was pretty pricey but i only put the best in my car. I control the subs with the standard bass control in the car and i also have a *** under my steering wheel. I have 12" memphis subs with an 1100 watt memphis amp. when the bass hits on a really hard hitting song i cant really hear the music because of the stock harmon and kardon system but on other songs it doesnt really effect the sound.
