Hi everyone just got my 2010 glk 350 and have some questions becasue the manuel and what i have dont match... i know i dont have all the options but for example my key does not look like what is in the book. mine only has two buttons and not 3 ( cant open the tailgate door with it ) also cant find how to open the tailgate door from the inside !! any suggestions would be appreciated

You probably have a manual tailgate. The auto tailgate is an option.

I sure sounds like you don't have the automatic tailgate option. If you don't, be aware that the tailgate locks and unlocks with the doors. If the doors are unlocked, just pull the release over the license plate and lift the tailgate.

Could also be a faulty keyfob, or a broken tailgate motor release.

I had a loaner GLK last week and the key fob only had 2 buttons. The car had a manual tailgate.

2 button fob is for manual gate, 3 button is for power gate

Did you buy your GLK from a MB dealership? Was it brand new or just new to you? If you bought it from a MB dealer he should have spent 20 to 30 minutes going over the vehicle showing you all the options you purchased. Keep in mind the manuals show all the options whether you purchased them or not. If you had a power tailgate the switch to release it would be on the drivers door panel below the power window switches. There would also be a button on the tailgate to close it once it was opened.
