Downsized from a Porsche Cayenne S
So far I'm loving my GLK350. It's rock solid, peppy, and I love the very smooth 7-speed auto with the nice exhaust growl. I got it back in June with the AMG package and the LED lighting package, which I think it makes it stand out a bit. My next door neighbor said that I look like a "pimp" driving around in it. I'll take that as a compliment. 
Even though I loved my Cayenne S, I didn't like the 6-speed transmission. So much so, I usually drove around in it with the tiptronic engaged. I also didn't like the heavy feel of the vehicle and the horrible gas mileage. My GLK350 feels light and nimble compared to my Cayenne S. That being said, the Cayenne did have more cargo space for all my outdoor adventure stuff and two dogs.
So far, not one problem with the car. Smooth brakes and no squeaks or rattles....knock on wood.

Congratulations! Just curious in the Cayenne did the car hold a gear (when getting close to the red line) or did it up shift when using Tiptronic in manual.

Congratulations! I also sold my 2005 Cayenne S and got the 2010 GLK 4matic. Very nice car ! Too bad when I got the car, it didn't have the AMG and LED option.
