What are those extra dash buttons?
Hi all,
Currently shopping for a 2010 GLK and have been noticing that some of the vehicles have extra buttons in between where the heated seat buttons are located.
Does anyone know what these buttons are?
Thanks,
Mark

I am assuming that you are looking for a leftover or used GLK. It is possible that it may have been built in 2008. My GLK is a 2010 that I bought exactly 2 years ago. Make sure you look at the production date on the door pillar, I think thats where it's located. Then you will know if you are buying a new, 1 or 2 year old vehicle.

Interactive owners manual, english:
http://www4.mercedes-benz.com/manual...d10e1575.shtml
- At a glance
- Center console
1st button on the left side = PARKTRONIC, On/Off
2nd button = DSR (Downhill Speed Regulation)
3rd button = Off-road program
4th button, right side = Auxiliary heating
Details about these functions can be found in the interactive manual.
Note: when I checked out this manual I noticed that either MB is not consistent with their information or they do have different positions for, and more, of these button. One picture showed 4 buttons, the other picture showed 5 buttons. At one picture the auxiliary heating button was on the right sight and at another picture it was on the very left side.

If you don't have Parktronics in the US then there are no buttons like the 4 shown by moscit. At least on a 2010. There is just a blank space in between the 2 heated seats buttons, if you have heated seats. Otherwise it is completely blank.
