Underbody panel
So something bad happened and I rolled over a bucket. I see that theres a possibility of 2 tears at one of the "screw" points. So Anyone know how much it is to replace the panel right underneath the engine?

thankfully no its not hanging off the car (else I would of gotten it pulled off)
Its still mounted securely and flexed itself back out after the bucket came out but theres 2 tears at the ends of the panel at one of the mounting screw point.
I'll get under my glk tmr and take a picture

we'll see pictures, but don't think there is anything to worry about.
On my old car the piece came off and was dragging on the road. I tied it with zip ties lol.

Check the mounting points to see if they're tight. It's not a skid plate but a rock and splash shield that helps with underbody aerodynamics. Looks fine otherwise except for that CRUNCH.... no big deal.

What you want to make sure of is that the shield is secure in the front of the vehicle. If there are any screws missing in the front as you pick up speed the force of the wind underneath will eventually rip out other screws and that shield will come off or start dragging on the ground but when you slow down or stop you won't be able to see it because it will move back in place. If you understand what I'm saying.

everything looks tight. No screws are missing and nothing latching downwards that will cause any rips as the front mount points are intact.
I'll get it jacked up when it warms up and see if I can mend it with some ultra adhesives or something along those lines (maybe epoxy it) or I'll just leave it as it is as nothing is dangling or loose and there was nothing mechanically crunching when it happened (thank god it was a plastic bucket)
thanks for the replies nonetheless guys
