X204 GLK-Class Unofficial Picture Thread
The Best of Mercedes & AMG

Two years ago we had a similar winter and GLK took some beating.
The air charge intake temp sensor, coolant pump vacuum change-over valve... pretty much any electrical unit between radiator and front of the engine would freeze up while driving and throw a CEL. Not to mention that the operating temp would just not be sustainable while in stop-go city traffic....This cover helped a lot last week
At the highway speeds, operating coolant temperature was around 90C, in stop-go traffic about 60-70C. Overall, it was worth materials and time
... and probably saved a few frozen sensors and headache of replacing those.
