I finally did it, a month ago I got a ride in the MB dealer shuttle, it was a B200 and I noticed above the driver side the sunglass holder instead of a grab handle. Once I got back to work I called the dealer to get info on it to see if it would fit in the GLK. Once they found the part number they could not confirm if it would fit in the GLK. At a cost of $28.40 CAD I took a chance and ordered it. The only color it comes in is light grey, no big deal. I might paint it. Here's what it looks like installed. If you are interested in the DIY PM me and I'll send you a document with more pics and a parts list.

Nice mod! On the 2012 models with the convenience package, in addition to push button start and smart key access, you also got storage/sunglass compartments under the front driver and passenger seats...I am surprised you cannot install this aftermarket as well....

I do find the seat compartment portruding out a lot reduces the movement of your legs on the seat. I was told by my dealer that people are asking them to remove it after a week of ownership.
That is kinda strange, never even thought of it to be a problem, I love mine, great extra space that is out of eye sight! To each their own I guess....
