If you're in the USA, first e-build your GLK on MB.com with all the options you wish online, make a copy for your records and jot down the MSRP. Then go to Cars.com or Edmunds.com and punch in your zip code along with the exact car you built at MB.com. Make sure the MSRP prices are identical. Take note of the invoice price. Then search these sites for the dealer in your area with the exact car, or closest thing. Take $2-2.5K off the dealer invoice and work up from there.

I usually have the magic number already written on a small piece of paper in my shirt pocket. Then after a hour or so of BSing with the sales guy... (listening to his sales routine, test drive, etc etc.) I pull out the magic number and say.. "this is the magic number... yes or no?". Be prepared to walk, but to this day, I never had to.

That's pretty much what I did. I test drove at one place, and then left saying I will test other SUVs. And went online to find the invoice price for the options that I want, and locate Dealers in my area to see which of them have those car on the lot. When on few of their website and asked for like $3k below the invoice price. They then emailed me back about their "best" offer on the email. And then I went to the dealership to ask for more discounts off that.
So far so good.

You just need to ignore to those bsing from the dealership. Ready to walk out if they are anywhere appear to be disrespectful. I left one dealership in Cali. I left there and they keep calling me back. But I wasn't going to buy a car from a place that treat me with disrespect just because I am trying to get a lower price.
I finally after moving to VA, bought the GLK here, and the car salesman was a great guy. Our negotiation only lasted about 10 mins or so. He offered me a price, I counter offer my price and he came back after talking with his manager (bsing) with $200 higher than my asking price, and I said deal. LOL...And then I ask why don't you throw in all weather mat for me...and he said ok.. so I really got almost all my asking price.. which pretty lower than invoice..

Actually if you are interested in the demo, you should ask for at least $5k off invoice price. One of my friend got her C300 for at least 5k off invoice price for the showroom car...it was a great deal!

GLK350 4 Matic
I paid 11% below MSRP..In addition $2000 discount because I own infiniti (Conquest program)...There was one dealer who was giving 14% but I did not buy from him because 1. he was far from my place 2. Not very honest 3. he said the car will have 300 miles because he has to procure the vehicle from somewhere else
