Finally Here!! 2012 GLK
After what seems an eternity, the wife's 2012 GLK we ordered in December is here!!! Seems like they took the extra time to build it right.
They gave me the Pirellis
(and there is a snowflake on the mountain symbol)
They also upgraded to the 6 disc, not the single disc that I ordered.?? Not complaining there, but a heads up would have been nice.
Multi media had the cables in the center console.
iPhone bluetooth pared right away, but looks like it takes a long time to upload contacts, so that will be attempted some other time.
Towing kit was completely installed and ready to tow, with electrical hookups.
LED fog lamps are impressive.
Harmon/Kardon really worth the money
Will be about a week or so till I can post good pics and test out other features, but all and all, wife is happy so I will be too.

I will speak to my dealer and MBUSA and request a COMPLETE towing kit. My 2012 GLK arrived minus the bits to actually tow something.
Do you know if the tow bar and electrical connection were placed in the vehicle at the factory or added locally by your dealer?
PS: I was right about the Pirelli tires. Here is my theory: Last Saturday we visited our dealer. They had 4 2012 GLKs in a row. 2 with standard 19" wheels, 1 with Appearance package and one with AMG package. The appearance package wheels had Pirelli tires & the AMG package had Dunlops. My Appearance package has Pirelli tires. Therefore, the Appearance package comes with Pirelli tires. For the time being anyway. YMMV.

The Pirelli tires are probably hit or miss. However, I can vouch for 3 2012 GLKs with the Sport Appearance package and Pirelli tires. That's a pattern. Grinning.

Yeah, when I resized the picture, it uploaded in landscape for some reason.
Will try again with better pics.
Still getting used to the Voice Control. Much better than the one in my ML.
And the Harmon/Kardon was worth it.

Much better! BTW is that straight black or Obsidian Black? Either way, I hope you have a good detail team... this baby is a bit*h to keep waxy clean and glossy!

Just picked up my GLK last night. Mars Red w/ Pirellis.
Just about every option except HIDs. Have the Phillips HID kit waiting to install.
Great ride. After 20 miles, I'm pretty happy.
