The old ML model cargo space was 19.5 cu. ft. for the “nonTEC” and 17.7 - for the BlueTEC, now being 24.4 cu. ft. flat for both. I will not be surprised if the new ML entry delivery as well is with run flat.

Run flat was even standard with our delivery July 2009 – spare “miniwheel” was optional, and ordered.
I shopped the ML Bluetec in December and was told then that the 2012 has a spare tire due to changing where the DEF tank is located. I was also told it does not have run flats. I have read information online that supports the non run flares on 2012 ML Bluetecs but not seen one in person. I actually passed on the ML partially because of all this. I had to make my purchase in 2011 and even with their 2011 ML Bluetec heavily discounted, the features of the 2012 were more what I wanted but none were on the lot at that time.

I like that. I don't think that I saw it on a coupe that I tested, but then again I didn't feel like trying to get in the back either. It seems like a more useful feature on a GLK where the kids in the back might need a... "cooling off". Or for the single people, where the ladies in the back might need encouragement to start taking off the clothes.

2012 GLK 350
I love the new 2013 GLK350 features, especially the front and back as well as the dash board system (I love the photo above featuring the interior w/dash).

Did you guys take a look at the New York autoshow? It mentioned something about a 360 degree parking camera, but I didn't see that in the Canadian order guide. Is that a Euro only feature?

I asked my dealer and the 360 camera is not available in Canada at this time.

I did not see the 360 on the GLK, however, it was a call out for the new GL by the product managers. The cameras in front are located directly under the center star and on below each side mirror.

There seems to be mixed feelings about the column shifter. I had the same concerns when I ordered my 2012 E350. Now that I have had the column shifter for a few months, I really wouldn't want to go back to the old shifter. The combination of the column control for basic functions plus the paddles seem to be an ideal combination. When I drive my C350, the shifter just seems like a step backward.

I like the idea where most all functions can be taken care of at the steering wheel combined with voice control on others I believe it is a step forward in safety.

I like how it frees up more center console space. But I pretty much never use a shifter beyond an armrest and of course getting initially into gear or parking.

I think the 360 camera is for the GL only at this time. The US order guide for the GLK makes no mention of it.
