Need Help buying base GLK350

GLK350 2WD + iPod, black with black, no any other options, quoted for $31400 + TTL in CA

Is this a good deal for 2WD? I tried to get the 5-twin-spoke wheel and aluminum roofrack but dealer told me it is factory option and not available for purchase.
the car has 150+ miles on it and the color is not exactly what I want but I can live with it. Anybody can comment if this is a OK deal for base version?

btw There is a AWD one with heated seat for $2.1k more but I do not really need AWD.

I would think it's a good price for the base version...but I would take AWD one for 2.1k more.. why not...it's suv.. and even in CA you can still go to places with possibility of snow

the reported price at truecar.com is higher than what dealers are offering on average, not sure why, maybe dealer get more aggressive at the end of month.

that price is after conquest incentive and dealer discount, no USAA or other program involved.

The 2wd base mode I quoted has MSRP of $37XXX including dest charge, dealer is giving abt 5.7k + discount in total.

does conquest and loyalty offer combine? I was told u either get loyalty for owning a MB or conquest for owning other brands.

No loyalty program on a GLK and the loyalty program does not go with conquest (why would MB spend money on a loyal customer when trying to bring them in from another brand?). Conquest and USAA also stand on their own. USAA does get along with loyalty though.

Discounts

I had to bring the title for my Chev pickup to show them for conquest (conquest was recently expanded to include almost every brand)and also the certificate I printed on the MB club website for the $1000 loyal club member discount. I think the only requirement for the loyalty discount is that you have been a MB club member for the past 24months or longer.

Where on Earth are you located? What's the engine displacement? CA I see, is that right? That's a an Okay deal, but you should be able to find the color you desire for around the same deal!

Finding a color on a lot isn't too hard if you want black, white or red. Finding a stripped model is much more difficult. I'm frankly amazed that a dealer actually ordered a stripped down base model. Maybe it was intended for their loaner fleet? Every GLK that I have seen on a lot had P1, heated seats, COMAND and a few other goodies.

well

the base one I quoted has 100 miles on it, dealer claims it is because car was at another dealership and someone drive it over...

I really don't know if Ishall trust him, but 100 miles isn't too bad

Keep trying. Ours is a base model, too. We did not like the "curtain" between the sunroof and the cabin. So we decided to go strip down. We have been very happy with ours. It is very simple, white with an almond/black interior.
