2013 GLK color - Pebble?

Anyone have an actual photo of a 2103 GLK in Pebble? I can't decide if I like this color... it seems matte/dull grey...

Maybe I'll find out tomorrow! If so I'll take a picture and post it.

Wasn't sure if this sort of question should be in the sticky'd Photo Thread....

Thanks!

Did you go? Did you talk pricing with them?

We did stop at 2 different "local" dealerships. One had a single Mars Red in the showroom and a Black on the lot. The other had Black in the showroom.

The Mars Red had the leather package with Almond/Mocha two-tone which was somewhat surprisingly a nice combination.

In person I really like the exterior changes but while the interior is a step up the one odd part for me is that they moved the shifter up to the column but what they did with the space gained seems like such an afterthought - and the slide cover for the compartment also felt "not right".

We only talked pricing at a high level and something like 7% off MSRP was what was stated as a target area. I've seen reports on the Edmunds forums that people are getting 11%.

The new miniSUV is for my wife (moving from a Mini - which she has always loved) so she wants to see an X1 before focusing seriously on any one. The X1s will be showing up this week I am told.

Right now, before seeing the X1.. I think the X3 holds a slight edge for us.

p.s. no sign of "Pebble" : )

The X1 does not have power liftgate, which is a deal breaker to us. When picking up our young kids from school, driver is not allowed to step out the car and our kids are too young to close the liftgate by themselves.

We picked up a 2013 GLK350 yesterday. The Conquest Credit is currently $1000. Don't forget to ask for it if you qualify. We got 9% off MSRP as well as Conquest Credit. I know it's not the best deal. But it's good enough to us. And the negotiation process was painless.

What state are you in? I'm looking to order one next week and have been shopping via web for now.

Congrats! The unspoken definition of a good deal is one that you feel good about... and it sounds like you did pretty good!

Never really thought about power liftgate on the X1. Did you shop the GLK against the X3 as well? I think that is the more direct comparison...

Yes, we did. My wife prefers a smaller SUV. GLK is 4-5 inches shorter than X3. It is her vehicle so the choice is hers. I do like X3 more than GLK. But it has to be X3 35i. 28i is underpowered to me. And, it has to have the M Sport package to get rid of the ugly black strip at the back.

The Graphite Gray looks much better in person, was a little hesitant at the color at first but warmed up to it.

I love my 12 in Tenorite Grey (or as its called in the US "Steel Grey"), has an amazing metallic fleck that sparkles in the sunshine!
