Winter wheel package- what are you running?

I'm looking to get some decent winter tires and inexpensive rims as well. I'm a bit confused on the whole rim size issue as my tire shop said they cannot find any inexpensive rims in size 17 or 18 that fit the 2010 GLK. I currently have the 20 inch rims on now.
I referred him to this thread and he said those rims referred to in this thread are more expensive ones probably running $400 or more per rim.
Can anyone recommend a brand of rim that's $175 ish per rim, 17 inch and will work on GLK? Will have to be available in Canada as well. I did see the post above that said RIVA rims. Any others??

paulglk, this is the one I got, it was $165 each from a local tire shop. Total cost including the toyo tires was $2100 (Canadian).

Not 17 inch but I think with the tire I chose the overall diameter is closer to stock than the 17 inch setup and price wise it's not a big difference.
Same width (8.5 inch), offset (45mm), bolt pattern (5 x 112mm) and hub center bore (66.6mm) as stock 20 inch wheels. They also come in silver and black. With 235/55-18 tires the overall diameter is near identical to the stock 235/45-20 tires.
One thing to keep in mind with these wheels (and many others) is that you will need different length wheel lug bolts. I think I ended up using bolts with a 28mm thread but can't remember 100%.
Thanks! It will take a little while to get use to the smaller diameter though, one of the things I love about the GLK is the stock 20 inch 5 split spoke wheels.

alright so there are alot of numbers being thrown around i'm basically understanding the following numbers?
Wheel & Standard Tire Size:
17" x 7.5": 235/60-17
ET: 47.5mm
Hub: 66.6mm

I think you can find 17" for similar prices.
Certainly from Tirerack in USA if you have a way of getting them without excessive freight charges.

General Altimax Arctic 235/65R17 108Q on 17x8 RTX Mann wheels. ET 45 CB 66.6. Just installed them, so do not know how they are. I will find out soon enough. Slightly taller by 2.5% but it was on sale for a very good price.

Wont have ours for a few weeks, but I've ordered 18" BBS SR wheels with Michelin X-i2 tires. I've always wanted BBS wheels and I find it ironic and kind of funny that my first set will be winter ones
