Getting the most from my GLK / Cargo Cover Removal?
Hi -
New to MB, new to the forum. Would love to be pointed in the direction of posts that will help me better understand my vehicle and how to get the most out of the car - for the driving experience and also any other tips. Was disappointed to learn that there is no Mbrace on my vehicle...
Additionally, can anyone tell me if my cargo cover can be taken out? The dealership said no - 2012 GLK350 - but, I have seen a few posts where it looks like it might be removable. That would really help if I could.
Thanks!

At least on my 2010 you can remove the cargo cover. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to on the 2012. If I remember you should be able to remove it after unhooking a safety latch or something like that on the end.
Edit: There is a safety catch on the right side that you push to the left to remove it. At least on the 2010. Good luck

You have to hold it with your hands after it is opened (retracted) and push it to the left side.
This will give you enough clearance to remove it. It's just snapped in.
I hope that was the answer to your question.

it's called luggage compartment cover (!)
(I can't believe the ignorance of the dealers/SA lately)

Re-install cargo retratable spring cover on GLK 350
By accident - I dropped the cargo cover on the ground and the retractable spring "pop out" - how do I re-install the spring into the retractable cover
