2013 eliminated cargo tray???

We have an early 2013 GLK350 and it doesn't have the cargo tray, ie when you open up the rear cargo cover, you just see the spare tire. I am told that all of the 2013's are coming that way, but that's not what's shown in the owners manual.

Does anyone have a 2013 **with** the cargo tray? If so, could you let me know what the part number is?

The dealer tried to get us one, but they one they got us doesn't fit.

They don't update the manuals when they change things. My 2011 didn't have a couple of things, cargo net, etc. that the maual said it should. Apparently they often don't tell the dealers of the change either until someone raises hell. Lousy customer relations.

Thanks everyone for checking. Sounds like the dealer info was correct. I did look to see if there was a way to cut the cargo box to fit, but the 2013 seem to have a big protrusion on the back right side that would require a huge chunk of the cargo box to be cut out. The dealer did mention that there are 3 different cargo boxes in the MB parts system for the GLK, so I'll stop by the dealer and if maybe one of the other two would fit...

If this cargo box does start showing up, please do let me know...

I think that is a matter of opinion.

I like neither the column shifter nor the round vents...

Very very slow
I am sure each owner love their GLK. Of course that's including me.

I am surprise that MB did not include the cargo tray for 2013's.
How much is that tray would cost them? A few dollars?
Shame on them

My 2013 GLK did not come with cargo tray. According to the M-B web sites, it is an optional accessory.

Are you talking about this, which is actually something different...this tray sits above the rear cargo floor whereas the posts here are referencing the standard cargo tray that sits below the cargo floor and above the spare:

My mistake. I do have a panel [in my 2013 GLK] with recesses for small items above the toy spare tire and beneath the floor.

Interesting, sounds like you are the first one here to have it in a 2013

Could it be regional? As I recall in 2011 the full, rear cargo net was std. in Canada but did not come in the US. Some bean counter's bright idea I imagine.

Wow, we really aren't communicating well. My post #15 quotes your post #14 where you state your '13 has the tray. You are the only '13 owner in this thread that has stated they have tray; all other '13 owners in this thread have said they don't have the tray.

Can you post a picture of your tray?

Here's a photo of the tray in a 2012, along with the collapsable cargo box that came with it:

The 2013's do not have the cargo tray. You can buy them for earlier models ($72 list) but I don't believe they will fit the 2013.

Cargo nets are supplied in Canada but not in the U.S. I don't even know if you can order one in the U.S.
