HELP...which option has power folding side mirrors?

Just did, and the manual fold mirrors don't fold anywhere near flush to the windows, so I'm assuming manual vs power fold are two different designs. Completely unscientific, but leaning against the driver door looking straight ahead using a tape measure against the window, the mirrow unfolded extends 9" and the mirror folded extends 6.25", so the fold saves 2.75" per side?
I just now grabbed my tape measure and eyeballed mine. It appears that the side mirrors stick out about a whopping 3.5 inches beyond the car body. That includes the slight flair around the wheel wells.
I' m 'whelmed (as opposed to overwhelmed). And I still hate little ***** trucks with 16 inch mirrors hanging out while parked 12+ inches from the curb

PS I also did KP at the Last Supper. Saw Wayne there. He was dishwasher and I was DRO.

BTW, my 3.5" measurement was with the mirrors extended. I've never tried folding mine, so I just assume they do

US Army 1967 to 1970. Basic at Ft. Bliss; AIT at Ft. Sill, then 13 months in Germany and 12 months in Vietnam. Makes one appreciate a lot of things for the rest of their life

I was in Germany from January of '68, until February of '69. I thought I would be in Germany much longer, but got "surprise" orders. Anyway, my outfit was in Hanau (about 15 clicks NE of Frankfurt) and later moved south, I think, to Babenhausen. Beautiful area, actually.
