It's been so long..

Since we've seen pics of your GLK! The picture thread is quiet also, does anyone want to share their GLK pics?
Thank you.

Not my GLK obviously, but sits right next to it in the garage. California highway 1 - perfect mix of car and road:

RC model

Ok, here's the first one. This thing is a beast, performance wise. Design dates back to late '60's and early '70's, although kits are still currently available. It is classified as a "pattern ship" meaning aerobatics. Wing span is 62.5", length is 57.5", wing area is 700 sq. in. The recommended engine is .40 to .65 cu. in. I installed a .90 cu. in (15cc) engine, then modified it with a larger carburetor (which required a fuel pump) and also a tuned muffler. Stock, the engine was rated at 2.5 HP in 5% nitro fuel. I'm running it on 15% nitro fuel. My guess is that it's developing about 3 HP. The airplane will accelerate while going straight up. It will do 400 foot diameter loops with ease, rocketing over the top at high speed. It goes exactly where you point it and grooves straight; a pure joy to fly:
