Anyone know how to replace tinted windows to untinted windows. I've seen one car on this forum and the brabus glk that do not have tinted windows.

I'd assume you would need to replace all of the tinted glass.

My car came with untinted windows in the front, which I got tinted. After a month, there are still small bubbles here and there - the dealer said they would "re-cure" them, which I assume means re-tint them.

There's got to be some sort of solution in the car tinting realm that is used to release or "dissolve" the tint, because I'm sure changing tint on a window, for whatever reason, happens often.

The bubbles show on my tint too for the first time because I chose a bad shop, then went to somewhere better where they tinted the windows with no bubbles and my tint is 5 months old. Sometimes if the tint is new and fresh it needs to dry up and then the bubbles with disappear.

It's all about the installer and the material used. I had tints on my previous car on all windows and they had no bubbles and didn't change color in the 3 years I had the car.

I need suggestions on no tint please. I think the car looks cleaner, tinted windows are kinda ghetto, might as well get black wheels

Black on black is where its at,just saying. So just remove the tint with some soapy water in a spray bottle and a razor blade. Now if its not a film the glass was smoked in between the layers of glass in which case you will have to buy all new windows.
Then you can join the fish bowl society

If I'm not mistaken, mb privacy glass in tinted within the glass, and not a tint overlay on the glass so it cannot be removed. Therefore I would have to replace all "tinted" windows....so the question remains, where can I get the "untinted" windows? Mb doesn't provide this as a part, thanks

"Untinted" windows is as a matter of fact entry (delivery) in Europe. The tinted windows, from B-beam, is a separate option at a price of approx. $ 550 (current exchange rate). And these windows are consequently deliverable as spares, at least over here. Should be provided by a MB dealer wherever you live as well - at a price of course
