Aftermarket Radio in 2010 GLK350

I picked up a used 2010 GLK for a bargain, only option that wasn't in it that I wanted was upgraded audio. What can I do with the base audio in terms of an upgrade? I want to get satellite radio and nav but I don't want to have those antennas on the outside of the car.

I've looked through a lot of the threads here that talk about this topic but I didn't see any that address some of the following questions I have.
  • Is there anyway to tell if the shark fin is prewired for these?
  • Is there anyway to incorporate the aftermarket antennas into the shark fin?
  • Anybody have any creative ideas on how to hide the Nav/Satellite antennas so they're not visible?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Look into retrofitting the Harman Kardon system into your car. I've seen it done before on this forum from, I believe, a Chinese member. He put in the larger screen and added the nav.

Not going to be too easy. I also saw someone doing a group buy on the new nav maps so a quick search should find that if you're planning on doing this upgrade.

Not to derail but along the same lines, has anyone just installed an aftermarket Sub and Amp to the stock system? I have the multimedia package but want a little more bass.

You can ask NCBob. I think he added an after market sub to his system.

I [had someone] put an aftermarket sub and amp in my factory HK system. It's not difficult for any aftermarket shop to simply add a sub and amp unit to your factory system.

I started a thread similar to this one in hopes of finding some kind of aftermarket radio with an iPod interface on the screen...
Came across this website...but don't know much about them.
