GLK 250 2013
250s are on the road now !

Deliveries of the 250 have begun in my area in eastern canada. Received my pre ordered one last week. So far after 500 km of mixed driving the tank is just below half full. Love it!

300.000 of us OM651 owners has had the questionable fun with them, some of us for more than three years.

Another reference is regarding my statement given in "the other forum": http://www.benzworld.org/forums/x204...r-problem.html.

I was at the dealership today for a service and the dealer's portal to MB had fuel economy figures for the Blutec. It was listed 24 city 33 highway.

I've been keeping an eye on Autotrader to see when the first Bluetecs land. I finally got some hits, and I'm more than a little worried. Could dealers really be attempting to mark the early arrivals up this much????

Those ads must have been posted by an automated system. The pricing is not yet released. The invoices show base price as $99,999 but the options have real pricing.

Its just the pricing that is automated by MB and the NetStar system.

I've checked a few VINs and they are not in CarFax system yet, as I expected...

Also noticed the 20" wheels are not available as part of the AMG package on the Blutec. It comes with 19"s.

Looked at the order catalog, it says the 19" is an option for the AMG package available only on the Bluetec. Maybe the sales guy misinterpreted it.

Thanks for the link. I hope that 33 mpg hwy is a conservative number like we see on most diesels. Not that it's a bad number, I was just hoping for better. Plus I'm still bitter about the laughable 33 mpg rating BMW slapped on my X1 ... Totally unachievable.

Nice step forward MBUSA.COM, but this is still in the "Future Vehicles" section only: "...The GLK250 BlueTEC arrives at U.S. dealerships in late spring..."

So we have to wait until mid April/May!?

I agree the 33mpg is a bit less that what I expected too. That makes the gas CPO compelling option. Reduce the cost upfront than save on the fuel. Anybody know how much the adblue costs?

You are probably right. I'm only going by the Build your Benz feature on the MBcanada site. It always has errors.

I'm getting about 6.8 l/100 km about 35 mp USg in mixed driving and the engine is not broken in yet (less than 1000 k on the odometer). It should improve after 5000 k

Over here the cost (at gas stations) ranges from $1.38 - 1.55 per litre, approx $5.2 - 5,9(?)/US gallon. But then the cost of living is quite different here, as we paid $115.000 (current exchange rate) for our GLK. So maybe approx $2.8/gallon is a qualified guess with regard to the cost of the AdBlue in US?

The "spec" on the German WEB is 6.5 - 6.1 l/100km.

Three recordings with regard to our 220CDI (consumption equal to the 250): 1920 km / 77 km/t avg. / 6.1 l/100km. 2773 km / 66 km/t avg. / 6.0 l/100km. 3545 km / 53 km/t avg. / 6.7 l/100km.

I just had a call this morning from the local MB dealer in Ann Arbor, MI, and she sad that they are expecting to have a few 2013 GLK 250 diesels on their dealership lot by the end of April. I've asked again and she sad that this is what MB USA told her. So I hope to have a test drive soon and will go from there...

My Tampa dealer told me that my new 250 would be in house by April 25 or 26. Still no pricing yet but EPA mileage looks very good based on the MB Canada site. Highway was shown at 5.9L per 100KM. Depending on your calculator it looks around 40 or so
