2013 GLK Black Headliner
All, this is my first post as I just became a MB owner. I took delivery of my factory ordered GLK this week however it came wi a grey headliner instead of black as ordered and as all the documentation says. The Canadian dealer looked into it and found every 2013 has a grey headliner even the black on black in the showroom. Any thoughts?

I ordered mine a month ago- and it has not been built yet- was looking at the order codes on the sheet and it lists 3 different headliner fabric colors, black, grey, and i think brown. I sent an e-mail asking about this and a few other things to the salesperson, and he didn't respond to that question. I ordered it with almond/mocha interior it better not have a black headliner when it shows up or there is going to be a problem.

I ordered my GLK350 with grey seats and specifically ordered the roof liner to be black, and everything turned out great.
I love the black roof liner.

What's the code for the black headliner? I was talking to my dealer and he doesn't seem to think this is an option. I'm ordering Obsidian Black Metallic w/black interior and want to make sure it doesn't come with the grey headliner.

The code for the black headliner is 51U, available in Europe in combination with following interiors:
021, Black Fabric;
121, Artico Black, 128 Artico Alpaca Grey;
221, Black Leather , 224 Mocha Brown Leather;
231, Black Leather Sportseats;
921, DINAMICA Microfibre/Artico.
Given your black interior is either code 021, - 121 or - 221, black headliner should be an option for your GLK as well.

The black headliner is one of the reasons why I am factory ordering!!
My dealership had a fully loaded 2013 BlueTec in Diamond white with all the options, including black leather and dark ash wood trim, but the headliner was light grey and it looked terrible IMO....I had the black headliner in my 2012 GLK, is very nice and gives the interior a sporty feel, a definite must have!!

Does anyone know if the black headliner is an option in the US? I'm planning on getting the black MB-tex interior with the black ash wood, but the one I saw in the showroom had what looked like an ivory (or maybe light grey) headliner.
