Installed some mudflaps!!!
Well today my made in china "replica"...:-) mudflaps came in...decided to install them and they came out pretty good...there is some fitment issue in the front drivers side but nothing too crazy.
If anyone is interested on how to install them, it's as simple as Turing your front tires to get access to the wheel well then just screw in the self tapping screws that came with the flaps to the wheel well...there were 2 places out of the 3 holes on the flaps that line up almost perfectly with the stock push pins...I just removed the center plastic pin and placed the screw there...the other whole on the flap didn't line up to anything so just tap it wherever it lines up to the inner plastic wheel well.
Same goes for the back ones except this time you have to remove the wheels...there just isn't enough room to get a screwdriver in there...
The whole installation should take less than an hour to do, probably quicker than that if you have a fast jack and some air tools to remove the wheels. it also might have lined up better if I used original MB parts but these were too cheap to pass up, and the plastic on these are made of a very strong almost rubbery texture so it didn't feel like it was a cheaply made part. looks and feels durable, lets see in the long haul how they hold up...

Mudflaps
I purchased OEM splashguards from the dealer. The guards are made in Germany. If you have the dealer do the install, shop around because the price quotes vary wildly -- even depending on with whom talk with at the dealer.

well they are actually pretty discrete on the car...i don't think they're that ugly at all...but hey to each his own...they do the job perfectly of keeping the rest of the car pretty...so hey that should account for something...
