Post your real world GLK 250 Bluetec MPG or L/100km
I'm actually a little concerned about my fuel consumption maybe you guys convince me there is no issue.
2013 250 w/ 20k - we had 2 adults a boxer and a 5 yr old with the entire back full. We have OEM glk 19's with Dunlop sport m3 winters on.
Filled up right at the highway made 1 small stop in Cornwall and had to fill up in Quebec approx 830km and 7.9l/100. Coming home first tank was just over 800km and 7.6l/100
This is very low considering we were on cruise at 115. I. The summer on OEM 20's I would show a range on 950 sometimes on a short highway trip to golf 1 hr drive.
Should I take her in for a check up or chalk it up to winter wheels and weather?
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
a measured 26.7 mpg (U.S) over 3 refuelings. My last fill up measured 23.8.
Not an exact measurement, (one tank fill), but enough to show the downward trend
with temperature.
Looking forward to warmer months and better economy.

Previous tank was same 30mpg with similar usage. (by calculation)
One before that was 100% highway. 35.6mpg (6.58 l/100km) (by calculation)
Car has only done about 1800 miles.
So far can't see getting much better if we drive at say 10% over posted limit. Keeping speed down and using cruise control does however improve mileage. But everyone passes us then
Overall, since I acquired the vehicle it's been averaging about 31.5 with mostly local driving with a fuel injector problem that has not been since resolved. And recurred and fixed and then a NO2 Sensor, fixed and then a fuel injector problem again. And now the dealer is buying the car back.

27-30 mpg in suburban errand-running mode - multiple stops, some freeway
23-25 mpg in stop-go urban situations, which is pretty rare for us.
Overall: just about 31 mpg for the first 2800 miles. I couldn't be happier.

2104 GLK250BT (just about every option) AND CURRENTLY on BIG ROAD TRIP.... and on board....with lots of stuff (back has a STD MB Tow pack (receiver only) thus we have a BACK TRY AND 2 BIKE RACK.
Done about 2800+ miles and we getting 33-41 mper gallon. (sorry haven't switched to Lt/100miles even though we in Canadain side ,,,eyh! :P:P)
Great miles for 2.0 engine - ... for this MB
So far 28.8 mpg on the first two tanks. For comparison I was only getting 21.3 mpg average over a 2+ year period of my ML350 Bluetec ownership. This is the main reason for the downsize, i use the MPG more than the extra space.
I've just registered as I am on the fence about replacing my 2008 Audi A4 with the new 2013 GLK 250 Bluetec diesel. I will be using it as a company vehicle and travel approximately 40,000km (~25,000mi) annually and great gas mileage is a must.
I was considering the Audi A3 TDI, Golf TDI, and a few others, but none provide the total package that the GLK diesel does in terms of size, refinement, looks, etc...
I see many people posting mileage numbers based on the dash display, but I am hoping that current owners can post in this thread what MPG or L/100km they are actually achieving using the proper mathematical calculation for fuel consumption.
Thanks in advance
Probably an important part of the comparisons are one's expectations. Needless to say, the comparison is apples to apples to bananas. Fuelly.com lists the most likely highest mpg for the 2008 Audi A4 @ 24 mpg. What do you get? How much better mpg (whatever your next vehicle) would make one satisfied? Further, the mpg SEEMS to take a back seat to an unknown list of important options. So for example, the MSRP for a GLK can go from $39,000 to a tad under 60,000. Again it is unknown how that compares to an Audi A4 you would be satisfied with.
So for what I can glean and swag, fuel mileage would consume 1,042 gals vs 758 gals or 284 gals a year saved.@ 4 per gal that is app $1,138. or app 95 per month savings.
If you are getting reimbursed for auto expenses (per mile rate or actual expenses) , I am swaging the Audi is a keeper.
If you can apply the US IRS section 179 (business) rules or another country's equivalent, the full amount (for a new GLK 250) can almost be expensed the first year put into service. This of course is not tax or charted accountancy advice. But those are the folks to ask for that portion.
MPG UPDATE:
38.43 mpg for 2nd filling (8.3 gals or a tad less than half full/ empty, depending on one's viewpoint. 319 miles, aka why even bother? )

- 22 mpg (10.7 l/100 km) stop-and-go traffic/short trips where engine doesn't warm up
- 26 mpg (9.1 l/100 km) regular suburban driving
- 35 mpg (6.7 l/100 km) back country roads at 62 mph (100 km/h) with some stopping
- 40 mpg (5.9 l/100 km) freeway cruising at 70 to 75 mph (112 to 120 km/h), no stops
