Thinking of Buying new GLK with Package 1

What do you think a fair price for this 2013 GLK would be? Is the maintenance similar in price to the C 300 Luxury sedan?

I seem to think I need to have cargo area, but the price of the GLK around Atlanta is not as negotiable as the C Sedan.

I also love the way the GLK drives (engine).

I had an E class back in the 90's and I loved it. I also had an S600 for 5 years, and loved it but it was way too much car for me $$$ to maintain.

I have been shopping for a couple of weeks, and I think these 2 cars are the best options in the mid $30,000.

I kept checking the dealers inventory. When I've found the car I wanted, I sent them a email with my offer. One of the dealer took my offer w/o counter offer. I got close to 12% off MSRP. GL

Thanks!

I went today to the last dealership in my metro area. I found a basic GLK with no package one, but a Pano roof (requirement for me), heated seats (nice in Atlanta winters and fall nights), and becker connection ( i have iPhone and iPhone).

Retail $40, 425 for $35,911 plus $502 fees and sales tax and a trade of $12, 000.

I drove the C luxury sedan, and I love how easy and comfortable it is for me (5'4 and female), second nature driving it. But it is a bit on the small side for passengers, and I like to buy antiques and plants, and such.

I drove a 2011 C300 loaner home for a few days, and I think the GLK is going to be a great choice for me, and I love how it drives and sitting high up. My White with almond/mocha should arrive in the next few days.

Smile GLK Price

Purchased mine using Truecar.com. I was going to buy a Ford Escape, but for a few hundred bucks more managed to order a new GLK with the options I wanted. No haggle - great experience. I may not be the best for all -- but I will use that service again.

Whoa, you mirrored my experience exactly! I love my '07 Escape but they changed the new ones into woosie crossovers with underpowered 4bangers. I used Truecar too with the no haggle price to order a fully loaded GLK that was built today.

How much off MSRP is TrueCar looking.

almost 12% off is pretty crazy, unless you had a trade in..

But I would say invoice would be a pretty fair price, which is 6% off..

It was well below invoice - I will check the paperwork to get the total savings. By the way, the dealer's Internet sales person took another $1,000 of the Truecar.com price. Using Truecar, you can get their discount price right away and there is no haggling with the dealer.

True, I got a good deal (10.5% off MSRP) for my C350 last year. So I went back to my dealer but they ripped me off for the trade in and gave only 9% off MSRP for the GLK. I didn't do it.

Then I sent my offer (12% off MSRP) to more than 7 dealers. Only one dealer got back to me w/o counter offer. I was lucky, the car was just arrived at the dealer that day ( so no dealer trade) and I was the first one who offered for it. I got it for 11.8% off MSRP (no trade in).
