I'm a new 2013 GLK 250 owner and twice this week when I am leaving work none of my doors will detect my hand on any of the handles to unlock the doors and I have to use the button on the remote to unlock it and then it will work as normal.

Anybody else experience this? Otherwise I am really enjoying the new ride

This has happened to me a few times too, but I can't seem to pin point a specific cause. My BMW on the other hand never had a problem.

No issues so far with the Keyless Go on either of my cars, aside from sometimes if I grab the handle wrong it will lock the doors first and then unlock, but I believe that's user error lol

I have no issues. It's too sensitive sometimes. When loading stuff on the roof, the doors keep locking from my thigh or stomach touching it, through my close.

I have had this problem before and I swear it is because my keys are in the same pocket as my phone. Maybe it is just a placebo but if I put my keys in the other pocket I seem to never have a problem.

Rob, you were right, it seems to happen when they are next to my cell phone. I've had it occur if I put the phone in the same pocket or when I am going out from the gym and have the phone and keys in same hand or in my backpack.

Thanks

Very welcome. Glad that worked for you. I racked my brain for so long to figure it out and then it just dawned on me and I have never had a problem since. Enjoy!
