GLK 250 BlueTec or CLA 45 AMG
Okay....so this may be a weird thread, but up here in Canada a fully loaded GLK 250 Blue Tec is the same price as a fully loaded CLA 45 AMG! I am seriously debating changing my order over to a CLA 45 AMG...problem is they do not arrive until January 2014.
Comments? I loved my 2012 GLK before it was totalled, and the diesel is pretty amazing after a test drive

I wanted to get the CLA45 in the worst way because as you said they are so similar in price, unfortunately the GLK is mostly my wife's and she didn't want a car that was small and low to the ground. Even though I'm loving my GLK if it was up to me I'd have gone for the CLA.

I couldn't give much help but i think that these are totally different cars in every aspect. The GLK is a jeep and the CLA isnt. The CLA is an AMG but the GLK isnt. You have to see what you are looking for, an amazing GLK or also the amazing CLA45.
The space is also different, im guessing the CLA is tight in the rear but im sure the thrill and fun of driving it would make you forget that downfall.
The interior of the CLA45 is amazing that might be an advantage over the GLK in my opinion.

Thanks guys for the responses! I don't have kids so rear space is not my driving factor, I like the GLK because it has practicality and is not too big. Its interesting about the interior comment made, my dealer said that CLA is not anywhere near the luxury of a GLK, but looking at the CLA AMG photos online with full carbon fibre trim, looks pretty amazing to me.
I think I will be changing my order, now I have to wait to January.......

AND its done, just changed my order over from a 2014 BlueTec GLK to a 2014 CLA 45 AMG...got one of the last early production slots for Canada, will be built October 2013 and delivered November 2013, super excited...

Nice! I decided to go out and get an older commuter car beater as I have to wait 5-6 months for the CLA AMG, so tempting to not drive it in the winter although it is all wheel drive!
