Help me decide which dealer options are worth the money?

Where is the prepaid maintenance option? We negotiated that down to ~50% of what the projected cost was of the service (we got 3/30 and since it had 10k on it it covers the 40k transmission service).
I like the comment about the warranty - for us it was miles we were interested in. We extended it for short money 1 year/100k.

The extended limited warranty would be $2490 for 24 months of $2810 for 36 months.

I just received my red blue-tek and turned down EVERY extended warranty and
protection package. Not worth it, (ask Consumer Reports). As for the hairy dog...
there's a lot of pet car mats & seat covers on the market for not much money.

The dealer tries to scare you anyway. When they say ludicrous things like "a windshield is $1,500" you know they're full of ****.
And the worst part is people believe it. When we walked out after giving our deposit to order our 2014, my wife said to me "are you sure we shouldn't get the glass coverage, $1,500 is really expensive for a windshield, that coverage would pay for it's self with one claim."
I haven't actually quoted out a GLK windshield yet but I'm assuming around $350-$400 for after market and $600 for MB glass.
And of course it's the same for all of the other add-ons. Dealer wanted $1,000 for a basic 3M laser cut kit. I can get a full front-end custom wrap done for that price elsewhere!

I am surprised that sales staff at a MB dealership do this kind of crap. It reminds me of the days back in the '70's when I sold cars for one of the big three American companies. This type of schlock was common then. Your choice of options make a nice package!
