GLK 250 Model year 2014 faulty AdBlue issue - a poll
Hi, ... I think it would be easier to compile the number of problem cases in a poll.
Please please vote only if you having the 2014 Model GLK 250 Adblue issue.
For me, I'm not having a problem in a 2013, but I can't honestly recommend the 2014 to friends and associates until this issue is resolved.
Edit: OH!!! ... vote YES if the problem is unresolved, NO even if you DID have the problem and it is resolved.
Christopher.

Good job posting this. Might require a PM to each person who did post about having the problem or not to get some votes.
Other options that might have been included:
" I have had this problem, but after dealer fixed it it has not happened again."
" I have had this problem, but after dealer fixed it, it happened again"
Seems we have several of each of these.

GLK problem
I am waiting to hear back on my vehicle. The dealer still has it. Last time they put 200 miles on it so I'm curious to see what happens this time. They are in touch with a field engineer or tech and are proceeding with the software updates. The service manager said he would call me by noon today.

Adblue
Check engine light came on two days ago. And appointment to bring in to the dealer tomorrow. Today the Adblue light came on with 10 starts. Check level and everything was fine. This'll be the third time with our 2014 GL K2 50 car has 3700 miles on it. My my wife thinks we have a lemon.

. . . or a poor service department that doesn't know how to correct the problem!

I complained directly to MBUSA and they looked into my problem. Said they thought everything was ok. As a token of their concern and to keep my wife happy, the Dealership is giving us a free 1 year service! We will be due in 6 months. Hope no lights come on, but at least I have a report number with MB.

I took delivery of my 2014 GLK250 September 1, 2013. Around 2 weeks later we were driving out of state when the AdBlue message came up. We were not happy, as this meant we had just 10 starts remaining and we were on our way to a long weekend away from all MB dealers. We turned around and went to the nearest dealer (an hour in the opposite direction) and after looking at the car for over an hour they diagnosed it as a software issue, reset things and we were on our way (a total of almost 4 hours of our time).
Two months later we were on our way back from a trip (this seems to be an issue with more than daily commuting) and we got the message again. It remained on for a couple of hours and then went away. We called the dealership and they had us bring it in. They kept the car for 2 days and reset everything. It has been 5 months and the issue hasn't happened again (but we haven't taken any long road trips).
