Halos on GLK?

Thoughts on throwing LED Halos/Angel eyes on your GLK?

Can it be done? Should it be done?

I've thought about blacking out the chrome housing, lamps, and orange reflector strip, installing HID's, and adding Halos.

I did general research and found out a company called Oracle has Halos available for the GLK. However I'm somewhat of a 'newbie' and don't know if Oracle is a credible brand. What they advertise and the photos on their site seem cheap and ridiculous.

If I do want to install Halos to my headlights what the best path to take?

To me they look like something a kid ordered from a J C Whitney catalog and stuck on his car, right along with purple lights under the wheel wells.

No man. There are things that should not be done on any Merc and one is NOT putting anything BMW like on it. Keep it like that your ride is already a killer which no bmw or any car brand can even replicate.

I agree with previous comments.
Even though I am really like the halos light on BMWs but I am not going to put that in my GLK.

I'm a huge fan, obviously as ^that^ was my thread, but I also understand the avoidance of a lot of people to look like a BMW. I don't think it turned out looking BMW-esque, but to each his own. I like to be different, and halos are different, and I wanted my wife's GLK to have something eye-catching without looking cheap. All the Euro cars have LED DRL's as an option now, and if we all followed the principle of not wanting to copy another clean, tasteful German car, then Audi would be the only one with LEDs in their headlights.

I think Angel eyes belong to BMW, LED light belong to MB/Audi and the others. However, I have seem a Honda Accord with the Angel eyes and the LED light...cool mods. lol
