GLK Secrets
#51
I really dislike the feature that shifts to park when the door is open. Several times I have needed to slowly drive with the door slightly open, but can't do that. I wish it was a feature I could disable. Also, I have never driven ANY automatic car or truck that rolled backwards on a hill when letting off the break. They all creep forward naturally. The only time I have experienced this is in a manual car.

So I had driven a lot of cars, and I noticed that on the 2011 GLK, When I come to a stop at a stop sign with no incline and let go of the brake, it barely creeps forward, almost as if it doesnt move. When it is on a slight incline, normal cars have no problem creeping up, but with the GLK, it doesnt move, and I felt that it was going to roll backwards if I didnt push the brake.

the car starts out in 2nd gear (locks out 1st gear). This might explain the lack of "creep."
Second thought: perhaps your transmission needs servicing, such as low fluid, dirty filters, etc.
