I cannot be accused of babying our GLK.
Wish I took a picture of three 5-6 foot Japanese maples with huge rootballs in the trunk. Or the six-foot longer planter that barely fit with the front passenger seat moved all the way up and reclined all the way forward (and cursing the fact that it doesn't fold flat).

After a bit of vacuuming, the car has returned to its normal state. It is due for a good detailing, though. My biggest concern was the weight of the pavers. I did that calculation between GVW and curb weight, and I think I got something like 1,200 pounds, which is why I limited the amount of pavers to 800 lb, distributed fairly uniformly over the entire trunk area with the rear seats flipped down. I was going to increase the air pressure in the rear tires a bit (it appears that MB suggests this I think), but since it was only a few miles back to our house with all smooth roads, I opted against it out of laziness.
Don't get me wrong, I still try to keep my vehicles in good condition (I've spent 10 hours detailing the GLK, clay bar to every surface, etc), but I'm not afraid to throw some landscaping materials in the back as you've done

That being said, I've always have the cleanest vehicle in the dump.

Even with a seat cover (more to prevent her sliding around) you don't want to see the back seat...
