Got rear ended...

I got rear ended yesterday. The right side of the rearbumper is mashed in and my two front seat head rest popped out. I wonder if the damage is repairable? Going to take it to the ins adjuster to see how much the damage is. Anyone have a idea if they will total it?

looks like a 2010 or 2011. Doubt they will total it. The other guys insurance should cover. Total depends on year and millage.

Total it? For a plastic bumper and two headrests?

Hardly...

I think head rests could be fixed manually, I saw somewhere how they were pushed back by hand.

Probably about 7k in damage from the looks of it - definitely wont be a write off!

From the one picture, I would say a bumper cover, maybe a bumper reinforcement & the bumper end cap retainer. Is the quarter panel creased in front of the bumper cover? Hidden damage issues are possible so look into the spare tyre well to see if you find any wrinkled sheet metal. Worst case scenario I would guess less than $3K for what I see.

Reset of the headrest takes a special tool. Your dealer should do it for free.

$3000 sounds pretty close. Maybe a few buck more or less depending on concealed damage. Hardly a total.
