Free ride for my GLK
But the coach is part of our retirement plan to see the USA. We have been very fortunate to have lived in several countries. (Japan, Germany, Philippines) But we haven't seen all of the USA. This coach will be much better than driving or flying and using hotels and eating out every day. We can drive a few hundred miles and stop for a week or a month. Then move on. So the fuel use isn't as bad as it would seem as we will not be marathon driving like most folks do on their annual holiday.
I would love to have a small RV based on a Sprinter but man, these are soooooooo expensive.

The idea of long term travel using hotels is not my idea of a fun way to travel. You have to drag your bags to your room and deal with the fun of suitcase living. Which is fine for a two week annual holiday. We find it much nicer to have closets and lots of drawers for our clothes and be just a few steps from fresh air.
Here are some photos of the inside. It's a lot nicer than most hotel rooms and I bet I bought this for less than a lot of the folks here paid for their new GLK's $48,000
