Hey guys just checked out a 2015 glk 350 4MATIC...has pretty much everything except keyless go and lane assist. I did want black on black but I am getting a good deal on this tan interior...49k window sticker and included a picture of my AMG. The car was a company car has all the service records and a clean carfax one owner. High mikes at 50k but I figure I'm getting a good deal at 23k for it (owner has carmax offer of 22k in hand). I did the initial check on the car and I'm going to get a cashiers check and go back at the end of the week so I can drive it back with a friend, only question is there anything specific to check before buying? Thanks
Is it a CPO car or is that out the door with no warranty?

The 4matic has issues, check on the transfer case leak and and "thumping" issues. Check on the power lift gate function which has issues.
Download the inspection service and cross reference with the records on hand, brake fluids and filters should have been change but often overlooked, also brake rotors and pads are soft on these cars and might be due soon, also transmission service is due at 70k.
23k is a really good deal and just barely over trade in value so you are well below normal private party cost, I say it is a very good buy if all those things check out.
What's up with evap case hoses on these 204 chassis cars? That's an HVAC repair, right? So many of the Carfax reports I see have a line item for evap drain hose service. Since when is that a real issue? Maybe just a way for dealer to make money?
The car you just bought is mine but I have while color and have Keyless Go. The only issue I have is a rough upshift in 3-->4 under light-to-no throttle applications. Dealer can't fix. Not a big deal but makes me wonder how robust the transmission will be in the long run. I also had them replace the fuel filler neck and line because I couldn't get gas in the car. That happened on my W204 too. Been fine ever since.
Probably just part of their maintenance that they do after a certain time?
so far no issues...I ordered oem all season floor mats and rear cargo mat, a pair of chrome mbz license plate frames and going to do a full interior led upgrade. Possibly looking into a morimoto HID kit as well
