edit... nvm... i guess the HU was just acting up and didnt want to eject.
mapman60's discs went without any trouble, updated a friends GLK from 2007 to 2017. will do my SO's truck monday (2012). thanks for this thread and to AZ.

10 GLK350/ 15 Accord/ 94 Supra Turbo
I lost the function to zoom in and just by turning the dial and to scroll by turning the dial, now I have to move by pushing it click by click, before I just turn thit dial to scroll. Does anyone else have this problems?
edit: seems like I have the infamous command dial failure. I ordered the aluminum shaft to replace the plastic one, hopefully that is what is broken. Everything works except for the scroll function.

2014 GLK 250 BT
An update on my situation. Just got my GLK back from a B service and it will be going back on Thursday for the NAV maps update. The 2014 GLK does not use a disc to update and my dealer is only charging me 1 hr labour to do the update. They said it could take upwards of 3 hrs to do, but still being charged 1 hr labour which is $156 Canadian.

So it looks like this is what my dealer installed and it says in one of the pics its compatible with MY13-15 GLKs. Comes as a USB and found one on eBay. They had mine hooked up to a battery charger while it was updating.

2013 GLK350
I tried loading the discs today. After the spinning wheel for several seconds, it responded "DISC UNREADABLE". I tried it 2 more times with the same results. My GLK350 is a 2013 and I think the 2013's need the dealer pin code referenced by purebass in posts #33,#35 and #37. When I bought my truck last year, it didn't have the nav module in the glove box. I installed one from eBay and it was a plug and play, but wouldn't download the free update.

V16 (2017) Disk 1 won't load pass 47%
Received the disks from Dan M yesterday and loaded this morning.
I have updated previously using original disks from 2012 to 2013 version, and an ebay version from 2013 to 2015.
Unfortunately, the disk will not continue installing pass 47 % even after numerous tries.
I will try cleaning Disk 1 and try again later.
