Hello, I am curious if there is anything available to update the User interface for the GLK. I have a 2013 Bluetec model
Also, Updating the Navi, does anyone have any good links to download the most up to date version for free or a small fee?
I do not want to pay the $250 from MB for a map update.
Do you have the plug in module in the glovebox. When I got my used 2013 Glk it didn't have the Becker map module. I bought one off eBay and updated it for free, at the Becker site. You plug your module into your computer and download the update.
Check site gpsunderground.com, I already updated my Comand NTG4 in my GLK 2010 3times...I downloaded DVD files from this site, burned it on DVDs and updated comand...but, be carefull, read at first forum, check what system do you have and when you finally get to the updating, put your car battery on the charger, map update via DVDs takes more than 2 hours...

You can go here and see if you can purchase a DVD. I have a 2014 GLK250 and unfortunately the DVD route is no longer an option. I think its done via the SD Card, but my stealer wants around $400 Canadian to update the NAV (no Becker here). Any suggestions for me would be welcomed

I see that MB USA offers complimentary updates for 2015 model year vehicles. Nice. Too bad MB Canada isn't onboard too.

Updating my navigation as I type this, it's been about 20-25 minutes for 25%, so the car definitely needs to be running or on a battery tender like I am doing.
Still stuck at 99%, error saying disc 2 can not complete update. Two conclusion I came up with is disc 2 is messed up ( it did add am additional 1%, going from 98 to 99) or going from 2010 version to 2017 version is too big of a jimp. Anyone else have additional info?. I have a new set of disc coming but is a few days out.
because of this thread i also thought i would take a shot at this, and purchased discs on ebay from some dude named mapman60... sketchy and illegal but anyhow...
this instruction sheet came with the discs. im not sure if it will help you or not.

got the exact same instructions. Did yours works? Did you go from 2010 map to the 2026/17?
As I suspected, the original seller sent me a corrupt disc 2, I bought a new set from another seller with express shipping and disc 2 updated no problem.
I dont blame the seller for the bad disc, he did try to help but refuse to say it was a bad disc until i prove his disc was corrupt and the new disc from another seller worked. All these disc are the same, they acutally ripped it from the link above and sell it on ebay, so if you know how to burn DVD-R and have dual layers disc then you should be good, I dont have those discs and have never copied a DVD so I just bought one instead.
