Wind noise solved
So my wife had her new to her 2013 GLK350 about 1 week, noticed lots of wind noise from the windshield area. Day 8 that she owned it I was driving to Sams Club and we got a rock chip and subsequent crack in the windshield. Contacted local Kryger Glass to replace. They came to my wifes work and couldn't replace it because they needed a new piece of molding. They got the new molding in and replaced the windshield Friday and the noise is completely gone. They did a great job and was only $410 installed with new Mercedes molding.

They said the old molding was glued down and they could not reuse it. So they ordered the molding from Mercedes, $40, and had it replaced in just an hour or so. Great guys and compared to Safelite saved me over $200

wind noise solved! 😊
I have a glk 220, above 90 km/h I heard a lot of wind noise from the driver's door, top corner. I sealed the rear view mirror, adjusted the door, the noise was less. I then taped the outer chrome trim under the window even though it seemed to be well seated and voila, the wind noise disappeared. finally

FYI for others there is a common issue in these cars with a whistle sound at higher speeds. Comes from the air intake for the air condition system behind the battery and funnels through the system. Pretty easy fix with some duck tape to reseal the gap that forms from heat from the engine compartment. I had made a post a few years ago with pictures for the fix.

I'm betting that just removing the box over the battery and examining the seal will make the problem fairly obvious.
And FWIW, I once bought an Acura MDX, but it had a cracked windshield. I was going to be out of town for a week, so I asked the PO to have it fixed before I picked it up. He did, and when I took my first long drive, I thought that there was a LOT more wind noise than I remembered from my test drive. The new windshield got cracked again just a few months later (in Arizona, it's a plague) and the installer showed me where the previous installer left a 6" gap in the sealant at the bottom of the windshield. Yep, that'll do it...
