I know my mechanic would charge me $145cdn for labour for front rotors and pads.I supply the parts.

hi there . I just changed my front brake and rotors . It's only costed me 340 for the parts. N I did it myself. I went with zimmer man rotors n pad from tactex. I got it from my mechanic. The parts are from Germany too. I fine it drive much better from b4

I'm from Toronto so I went on kijiji n bought it. Zimmermann rotor n textar bake pad. That's all I know.

Ask for a breakdown or detailed quote (parts, labor, etc). Then post the details. It may be reasonable if your brake system is in a poor state.

If if you are talking 4 rotors, all pads, brake fluid flush, and replacement of rusted hardware, it sounds about right. If it is just front rotors and pads (no rear) then it seems high.

Dealers or service centers will often charge flat rates for labor based on manuals.
