Wind whistle blower motor
I've got the temperature controls set to auto, and at most fan speeds there is a wind whistle coming from the vents. The blower motor itself doesn't sound too bad (in the spring I will find it and give it a good dosing of lube in the bearings), but there is a definite wind whistle, although slight, coming from the vent system. Any suggestions on where to start looking to fix this?

its going to be the air channel right above the battery. there is a foam gasket there that usually deteriorates by now (it did on my 2013); OR it is not seated correctly.

if it’s only while driving then i documented it with a fix in an earlier thread with pictures. Easy fix once you know that is the issue. All you need is duck tape to seal the deformed seal around the intake for the system. Right above the battery on the passenger side under the hood. Remove the cover and seal around it on the inside. Good luck. !

I ended up replacing the cabin filter, that seemed to do the trick. previous filter looked fine, swapped out, whistle is gone.
