2014 GLK LED light upgrade
Also, is LasFit good LED that will last long, hopefully at least a year or more? Thank you!
LEDs installed in a reflector housing not designed for LEDs are often a questionable compromise.

OEM OSRAM halogen bulbs are made for long life and their brightness will degrade over time. You can find brighter bulbs but the trade off is life span - they burn brighter and a bit hotter and will fail sooner. However, you can still get a year or two out of the brighter bulbs so if you don't mind having to change them again they are still worth it.
Google around a bit and look at the reviews of the various H7 bulbs and find the lifespan/brightness balance that suits you. I went with Phillips bulbs and they are a bit brighter than stock. I have some GE bulbs to try when the Philips bulbs eventually fail or dim.
Good luck.

You're right! HID are much brighter and perform better. I installed the after market bi-xenons (mine came with OEM halogens -- they suck) and the difference is HUGE. I also added 45w/each LED for the high beams H7's. My HID's are 35w D2H bulbs. At night... I make the highway lights look so dim. The projection is super wide too!
