Panoramic Roof Regrets
Anyone with or without panoroofs regret the getting/not getting option? Seems like on the other Mercedes models its a bit flimsy but not sure how they are on the GLK

I have not yet had any trouble with the panoramic roof, but I really have no use for it. It gets too hot here to open it most times of the year and I don't care for the extra noise when it is open. I could easily do without it.

Never had a problem and never did anything to it over 10+ years...I was just thinking getting some grease in there.
The panorama roof is great, I would get it on every benz.

Haven't had any issues with it but I have actually never opened it. The most I have done is open the shade so the light shines through the roof into the cabin. Makes the cabin feel a little airier so it's something that is nice to have but if I didn't have it I wouldn't regret it. I bought the car used and it was already on it.

2015 GLK. 30,000 Miles. No issues yet. I as well have it lubricated when serviced. I really do not use it much.

I'm pretty mechanical but I know if I break the wrong clip or something, I risk a leak or worse, a roof stuck cracked open so I didnt dare.
I didnt even think to YouTube it, thanks.

the difference in used car market prices on GLK's that do and do not have the sunroof is a pretty wide gap.
Glad I read this thread, I will learn how to do proper maintenance on ours to help mitigate any potential problems.
