2011 GLK350 - Sunroof water drians? Where/how?
Good day to you all.
My 99k mile GLK350 sprung a leak internally today, when my wife went through the car wash. The right/forward most corner of the headliner and right A-pillar cover had water running how it.. She came home and told me, so I looked at it, immediately assuming the drain(s) were clogged. Opened the sunroof, and could not see anything that resembled the drain..
How hard is it to get to from the top side? Any pointers on best/easiest way to check/clean them?
My old VWs used to do this all the time, but the drain locations were quite obvious visually. The Benz, not so much... lol

Check out this video--REALLY simple solution, and appears to be a better fix than trying to put wire/tubing down the drain.
--the drain cap is located behind the fender---BUT it can be accessed through the open door.

it's a little hard to find, it isn't pointing at the ground it's pointing forward coming thu the fender. If you have large mitts like me it's tight to get in there, you door can't be open all the way, and too far closed either. Have someone YOU TRUST, hold the door and get right in there, you will find them.
