2014 GLK350 died while driving
Thx
First mission is to get MB specific codes pulled. That will help get us started.
Does the engine at least turn over with the starter? Does it sputter or otherwise attempt to run? Is the drivebelt/poly-v belt still intact and correctly tensioned? When was the last service and what was done?
Had she just gotten fuel recently?

Ill ask her about the fuel when shes back. The nothing happens with the engine at all. I hear the fuel pump but nothing after. Ive done all the various servicing needed since the mechanics plan ran outl. Service C and D if i recall. These are the codes i just pulled.
I think you've got a couple main issues, but bear in mind I'm no expert

Two things I know can go wrong with these GLKs (and other Benz) is the camshaft position sensor and the ESL module under the steering wheel. When it breaks, it renders the vehicle unable to start or run. There are a few how-to documents on replacing the module. When it happened to me on my C300 I had no idea what it was and got shafted by stealership for about $2500 to fix.
Read this for starters: https://mbworld.org/forums/c-class-w...lots-pics.html and a search will reveal many more threads. Suffice to say that our GLKs are built on the x204 platform which is shared with the w204 C-class of 2008-2014ish. You should be able to find plenty of info on replacing the ESL.
The camshaft sensor may not be faulty, it may just be telling you the timing/cranking was off and this was likely due to the ESL preventing the engine from starting or running. I think the order of repairs should be ESL first, then see if it starts and runs.
Good luck and keep us posted.

If your scan tool allows you to delete the codes, I would try that first and see if you can restart. I doubt it, if the ESL is dead.
I don’t think the ESL failing will cause the car to power off mid-drive, but the ECU having a seizure might.
