2010 Glk350 electrical melt down?

I have been on the road almost 2 weeks. The GLK hasnt been driven while I waited for parts to do the transfer case rebuild. I went out to start it today and it wont turn over, no click, nothing.
seems to have lots of power and EVERY system is sending faults to the dash, cruise inoperable, etc etc. Wipers were trying to wipe and turned off, lots of weird and wonderful.
I checked the battery voltage with a meter and it said 12v. I tried my boost pack and it sucked it from 100% to 86% in a minute and still no click nothing..I removed the battery and put it on charge, my smart charger said it was low. But it load tested ok, low but ok?.
Fuses look normal in the engine compartment box.
my wife said she was out by it one night and thought she smelled electrical burning but when I got there I couldn't smell anything. It's been very wet here lately, but I cant see anything melted or burnt yet.
any suggestions? Anybody seen anything like this?

12 v is about 50% charged, or dead. A weak battery can cause big problems . Charge it and get it tested.

I have the battery on charge now, but it wound even click, the battery isnt old and load tests ok, I'm wondering if it's a relay, is that a common problem?

How old is the battery, what is its voltage after it sits for 10 minutes off the charger ? Do you have a load tester ? Is it an AGM ? Non AGM corrode cables

ot loads tests ok, but a little weak, it's on the charger. It's an agm, just under 2 years old. Cables clean and well greased.
wife smelled burning electrical, that's my worry.

I'm going to figure out how to unlock the shifter tonight and have a couple friends come over and help me push it into the shop if we can. Let it dry for the night and get at it in the am. Hopefully nothing burnt up.

So, charged the battery for a few hours, pulled the starter relay, left it in the garage. Put the battery back in, it got to 90% after a few hours, put the starter relay back in and it started. I have 4 generic weird codes that wont go away, they come back immediately. I have it inside and on charge now, see what tomorrow brings.
still concerned about the electrical burning smell. I'm wondering if sitting in really humid conditions without running for a few weeks if the starter relay has some moisture in it and being inside the garage allowed it to dry out? I'm going to replace it at any cost. Definetly a weird thing.

If battery is even slightly lower than needed it won't crank. Nothing will happen so that's normal.

Low battery can cause all kinds of other faults, normal. But what are the generic codes?

No, there should be no electrical fires caused by humidity but do you have rodents chewing on wires while the car is sitting outside?

12 years old , is there salt on roads or in the air, maybe corrosion on a cable or ground wire somewhere.

dont see anywhere rodents were at it. I'm going to let the battery charge until tomorrow then load test it again. I'll check the charging system and test for ac ripple. I'm not sure if will throw a code if just 1 diode in the rectifier section of the alternator was bad, and it doesnt take much ac to toast a battery.
if all thet checks out I'll clear the codes again and take it for a little drive and see what codes come back and then dig into them.

Nobody talks about the alternator Regulator. Mine went bad at 70000 miles. Everyone said to replace the alternator at 500–1200 for just the alternator .Fcp had the Regulator for about 150 and it now charges . The brushes wear out! You should not have gone that low after two weeks. It probably was not fully charging. Mine was not, it would charge from 50-80%, with a new regulator it now charges from 85-95% and it’s a two year old battery so I think that’s normal. (I monitored the battery with the remote CTEK Battery Monitor unit that you have an app for battery stats )
Get the codes read to see what tripped.

if you do the regulator polish the commutator with 400 cloth sandpaper. Hook up a drill to spin the alternator, a two person job.
