2015 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 Temperature

I wanted to know if this is normal temperature or if it’s too high. Stays at that temperature normally but I wanted to know if it’s anything concerning.

Double-check your Owners Manual.

I'd have to go start our 2014 and let it run for a while for confirmation (only drive it every 2-3 days), but I'd say somewhere in the neighborhood of 90° is normal / typical ... looks as if yours shows that temp.

I am pretty sure that's about what mine is at.

That’s exactly where our 2015 temperature ran for 155,000 miles. I think Mercedes raised the thermostat setting somewhere between 2010-2013 for fuel economy.

That may be true. My 2010 seems to run at around 80C.

My 2013 GLK 141k runs 90-87c. I just drove it 600 miles (with the cel on half way) and noticed it would drop that 3c then go back to up a few times the whole trip. You're seems a tad higher to me, but such a small amount seems intentional my the ECU maybe. Doesn't seem like it would be a faulty thermostat being so consistent.

It looks normal , as long as the fan does not run all the time and it doesn’t jump up and down I’d say it’s normal . Mine is 1-2 lower . Change coolant even if manual doesn’t say to. Wash radiator .every few years I drain and put in new coolant . Don’t forget brake fluid ,

I think the GLK's thermostat is set to maintain normal operating temp at 87*C which is right where your needle appears to be.

I would also echo the coolant change advice (and use the proper MB stuff when you do).

As an experiment, if you run the A/C does the temp gauge drop a little bit?

Then I'd say you've got nothing to worry about really. Just keep up on maintenance, which includes timely coolant flush with the proper spec stuff and you'll be fine. The M276 is quite a robust motor.
