Has anyone applied for a High Mileage Award?

Levels of Achievement
250,000 kilometres
500,000 kilometres
1,000,000 kilometres

I'm getting close to 250k, do they verify the milage?

Not sure about 4 wheel vehicles, but I'm familiar with "million mile Phil" ... an 80 year old Gold Wing (Honda motorcycle) rider, Phil Steiner, who has put a lot of miles on his Gold Wings - 554,000 miles on a 2002, and 704,000 miles on a 2015. Imagine that - on just two wheels

Looks like you just need to go to a dealership and to submit everything:
https://mbworld.org/forums/m-class-w...mb-canada.html
https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...age-award.html

To answer your question, yes someone did apply for the reward, 500,000 KMs too: https://mbworld.org/forums/glk-class...ml#post8743608

Congrats to your milestone OP, wish you many many happy miles coming.

I have applied for the 250,000 Km award....3 times! First time didn't get a response - MB Canada seems to have lost track of it. Second time, a new ie at the service desk at everything up (took pics of Km's, VIN, licence, etc), filled out form....and then jetted - to a new job (tossing the paperwork ).Yeesh!

Third time, I got white glove treatment from the dealership service department - they were the absolute tops! All paperwork completed for me, pics taken and submitted for me. Called MB Canada recently to find out what is going on. After much foot shuffling by the lady in the call centre, she wanted me to verify who I was by sending a copy of my ownership or license because she didn't have access to the documents!!! Didn't want to move forward to get things going, just do a check on my info....that they ALREADY HAVE! Note: She said the awards department found the paperwork, so they know who I am and what I want! Then she said they ran out of awards and might have some by the fall. Can you believe it?!! I can't.

Gonna try again, then begin stomping my feet. It has been many, many months. Anyone else have this issue? I want to have the badge on my GLK to show brand loyalty and to promote the brand! Wish I had known about this on a previous 190e, it went nearly 500,000 Km's. All of my other cars were leases and wouldn't qualify for high mileage awards. Now at 285,000 Km's on the 2013 GLK.

Anyone know of who else to contact other than the MB Canada call centre?

Ok, rant over....but jeez....

I am not suprised by your experience. I recently sent two parts inquiries using their online form to my local MB dealer. Neither was ever responded to. And when I walked into another dealership parts dept to buy adblue, they said they would not sell it to me. So I buy it online from an independent vendor. Mercedes is just plain bad at customer service.

Received my award today in the mail. I filled out the form and went down to my local MB dealer and had someone sign it to verify the mileage. No one there seemed to even know about it and thought it was cool.

I have good luck at my local MB parts dept. I'll look up the parts for the price online and print the page out to bring with me, i'll just hand it over and tell the person i want those part #'s. Either its in stock or they have to order it which will take a day or two to come in. Depending on who the person is behind the counter it does seem like im bothering them with my petty orders so I make it as simple as possible having the part #'s ready.

Very nice, will have to look into this, my GLK has about 212,000 miles at this point, so well above 250K kms, but in all honesty anything below 500K kms these days is not that special,

The parts department at my local dealer in California is really on the ball. Twice I used their 'email us your request and we will get back to you' and twice I am still waiting for any reply, 3-6 months later. My first MB is a classic, from '69 and when I went to my then-local (Amsterdam, The Netherlands) MB dealer parts department, they told me I better go someplace else, because they had no idea and did not want to be bothered. I have nothing but poor experiences with MB dealers, and even with MB Corporate (as in, Stuttgart).

I would like to mount the badge but doesnt look like it will fit on my Sports grill. If i can mount it somewhere where it looks like it came with the car I will, but dont want it looking like I just stuck it on.

When I filled the application out and had it signed I just scanned it and emailed it to the email address on the form and received a response back shortly after that it was received. Then I forgot about it until this past Friday I received a text from Fed-Ex that a package was on the way. I had no idea what it was until i opened the box.

Isn't that a bit of an oxymoron?

Why not just order the parts for pickup through mbparts.mbusa.com? No need to print anything off and saves you trips to the dealer when they have to order stuff.

Have you ordered and picked up parts that way? The closest MB dealer to me has a website but theres only an online form to request parts, says 3 parts at a time, and they will contact me back with pricing. I go on the MBUSA Boston website where i can look up and see the prices, but seems the only option upon checkout is to have them shipped.

MB dealer isnt that far and theres a nice Dollar Store up that way so I dont mind taking a trip.

Well, a funny thing happened. I got an email from MB customer service. They want me to prove ownership of the car. Yet again, after all of the applications that I have made that were approved by, and sent in by my MB dealer. Amazing how much thought is going into this. MB Cansda - you're not looking good here.

I went in the MB website awhile back and filled out the form letting them know I purchased the car. I also filled out the little card in the Service and Warranty Information booklet that came with the Operators Manual in the glove box and mailed it in. I wanted to make sure Mercedes would send me updates on any recalls. Maybe that's how they knew I owned the car.
