Water leak(wet floor drivers side)

Good evening, friends, I have a problem with water leaking into the cabin and onto the driver's foot mat. Today it was raining and I was sitting in the car and watching where the water would come from, and I waited. The stream came from the upper right side near the gas pedal and spreads down under it. Maybe someone has faced similar problems, or knows what needs to be done to eliminate this leak? I will say right away that I cleaned the drainage near the wipers.(My car GLK280)
Please help me with advice!

It could be that ... or, in very rare cases, the windshield has a leak.

Another odd and rare case would be the water drizzles down the windshield, then below the wipers and enters thru the upper filter casing.

There is no sunroof, I always wash the roof well at the car wash, so it is clean.

I photographed in the area of the brushes near the windshield there is plastic, and it does not fit to the glass there is a space between the pad and the glass, is this normal? I attached a photo circled in red

There you have your issue found, the water passes through there and gets in to the car.. Possibly i think you should find a way to seal it up !

Maybe, but I'm not sure it's because of him anymore. Today I disassembled this panel, it really does not fit into the grooves of this seal, but I did not notice any leaks on the body... But from the inside I saw that water is still gathering under the carpet somewhere, here is a photo. I am already confused

Here's a similar photo (driver's side) of our 2014 GLK350 Base for comparison:

I see that the casing is connected to the windshield more tightly. Now I think that after replacing the windshield, which I did in April, this problem occurred, perhaps the masters did not do it completely

Aha!! The windshield was replaced. Yes, I would talk to the people who did the replacement to tell them about the leak. It did not leak before, but it leaks after the replacement. They need to fix it !
