Looking for 2015 GLK 350 Front Driver Door Seal

I cannot find this anywhere online.
Does anyone have a source?

OEM seal that needs replaced
OEM seal that needs replaced
OEM seal that needs replaced
OEM seal that needs replaced

This is what I received from AutohauseAZ that was labeled OEM.

"OEM" seal I received

Any others I find online that claim to be OEM don't have a picture.
After receiving the one above I'm leery of buying without a picture.

BTW that sill plate is a pain in the *** to remove!

We shop one of two places ... FCPEuro or an official MB dealer parts department. I checked for our 2014 GLK350 Base and FCPEuro shows it. At 93k miles, ours are still in great shape. (Personally, for a door seal, I'd be inclined to get from MB parts dept.)

Regarding the sill plate - I've removed one (passenger side) for a different reason - took about 20-30 effortless seconds at most (I have a Dasco Pro trim pry bar set 👍 ).

They're all listing the same stick on incorrect seal.

Makes a difference when you don't know how it's attached. Feels like it's going to break. Easier the 2nd time.

Understood on the "incorrect seal" ... why I mentioned we'd order from MB parts ... at least FCPEuro will do a refund if the part is rwong.

Oddly enough, there are some videos that demonstrate the removal of sill plate. For me, if I'm unclear about a procedure, I do research to find videos or step-by-step instructions. And I certainly don't know everything about the GLK 👍

But good luck on a finding a proper door seal!!

Yea, something's odd. Maybe that's for Left and Right (?)

At MB parts site, it's $167.00 for our 2014 GLK350

This says "may fit".
A search by VIN on this site for "door seal" returns 14 pages of parts, none of which are a "door seal"
Just seems odd this is so hard to find and the web site returns nothing.
This is the first time I've seen a part number so I'm willing to try it. Not sure where you found that. Thanks.

What's the problem (?) The last few posts from you have not been helpful ... and not very courteous ... you must be bored ... certainly NOT a "super member".

Your observation is out of context, and not helpful.

Helpful and courteous don't come into play here. It's nothing against you whatsoever. I simply found the particular screenshot, you posted, peculiar. The "may fit..." line grabbed my attention right away and then the odd time period of 1954 to 2024 really seemed off. It's as if the website you were looking at may not be legit.

I'll explain ... When I did the search, it's because I did a general search on the web with "2014 GLK350 left door seal". I did NOT specifically go to "mbusa" and do a detailed search. That's how I initially do searches. Then when I narrow down the part, I do an exact search for the part at the website of choice.

I will do that in a few moments.

Keep in mind, that "door seals / gaskets" are designed by many vehicle manufacturers to be used on MULTIPLE models ... the significant difference is the LENGTH, so sometimes you will get a seal that is too long, and you have to trim it to size. Heck, it's probably used for the rear doors.

That's why, sometimes, you'll see that some part number fits SUV models, sedans, and so on, very seemingly disparate vehicles. Like batteries.

Sidenote:
The misdirected comment about "a part that fits 1954 to 2024?" is related the GENERAL comment by MB website that means "we have parts for vehicles from 1954 to 2024". Pay no attention to unhelpful comments.

I included the URL in the screenshot to show and confirm that I was at the official MB website - edited portion below

The part number, minus the leading zeros, is placed directly after the years 1954 to 2024. To me that does not translate to "we have parts for vehicles from 1954 to 2024". I think you're trying really hard to be offended when no such thing was intended.

Okay, so I mentioned I would do an exact search at the official MB site , which I just finished. Sometimes, it may not be obvious which "path" to click thru ... for our 2014 GLK350 Base, I ended up to show the screenshot below. ... notice it shows I can get it at "MB of the Woodlands" (a town east of us in Magnolia TX). Notice I include the official URL for MB parts website. Plus I included the direct link for the Driver's Door parts.

You will need to search for your 2015 - don't be shocked if it's the same part #

And that part # in the screenshot... the MB site shows it is for MANY different models 👍

Home > 2014 Mercedes-Benz GLK 350 > Driver Door

https://mbparts.mbusa.com/v-2014-mer...r--driver-door

When you click that link, you will have to scroll, because there are various parts for the door (including the door itself).

Using EPC and the VIN for my 2014 I come up with A 204 727 11 87 for both sides and a foot note that says "To be adapted during assembly." Wonder if it has double stick tape on it? (Also fits rear doors.)

Man I hope you're wrong, but looking at the seal that may be what they're talking about.
I've been trying to find this entire thing (seal, metal reinforced grip, inboard lip) to replace as one but that may be made of unobtanium.
That may be why there are no pictures anywhere.
If that's true that's crazy.
If that seal is stuck to the metal reinforced section, I don't think that will come off cleanly.
I'll post what I receive.

Fail. I received the same adhesive backed seal as before.
Apparently you cannot buy the full door seal "assembly".
I see no way to effectively remove the "sealing" part of this seal (that contacts the door when closed).
I'll end up destroying it and be worse off than before.
I supposed I'll look for a junkyard seal or just live with it.

First world problems for sure, but this has been very frustrating.
