I tried turning the steering wheel all the way to the left and right several times hoping it would reset, made no difference.

i even tried what this guy did (
) and pressed the red tab and turned the ribbon cables all the way left and right 3 times until i felt tension but still nothing

perfectly straight

results in steering wheel going slightly right

if turn it slightly right

it lines up perfectly straight

idk what to do...

Yes, but how does it drive? If you center the wheel does the car drive straight? If not, an alignment may be the solution.

yes, after putting on the steering wheel and holding it dead center the car goes to the left, it is definitely an issue with the clockspring

this is a new(used) clock spring I bought off ebay because the original one was damaged, i thought there was a way to adjust this small amount of misalignment

Have you had any steering angle sensor fault codes or warnings?
I still think a wheel alignment will fix your problem. The arrow on the outer ring of the clockspring is centered. The steering wheel is mounted to the steering shaft not the clockspring. In order for the car to drive straight, the wheels need to be aligned to the steering wheel when centered. The position of the clockspring should have no effect on the car driving straight.

What Silver Shadow said... I haven't ever had my steering wheel off, but I doubt there is a keyed spline - I think it can be put on in any alignment (though only one, properly). The clockspring has zero effect on the steering wheel alignment or the car going straight.

Short version: pull the steering wheel and put it back on properly aligned. Personally, I'd do that by driving the car straight into the place you'll be working on it, making sure that the steering wheel is off-center by the "normal amount" when you're driving straight, then remove it and put it back on aligned correctly.

So it was the alignment, I took it to les swab and they did the procedure and now its basically prefect

I guess when i removed the bolt to remove the steering wheel it was VERY tight and removing it took alot for force which probably messed up the alignment
