multiple dash error lights

Crazy wild guess ... bad battery or alternator.
If a mechanic "familiar with MB" spends hours and can't figure out the problem, I'd avoid them.
For the stuff that doesn't require the engine to be running, do they work ? (like high beams or rear camera)

The alternator recharges the car's battery while the engine is running.
The alternator supplies power to the car's electrical components, such as the headlights.
The alternator ensures that the car's electrical systems receive a constant supply of electricity.
There's also a possibility that there is a "bad electrical connection" somewhere.

One reason I asked the question, which NEVER got answered:

If I remember correctly, there's two on our 2014 GLK 350 Base - one under the hood on driver side and one in the rear "trunk" compartment.
(don't hold me to the number and locations, because I've yet to deal with them).
